FITNESS SERVICE MANAGER

SCOPE OF THE POSITION
The Fitness Programming Manager is responsible for improving the performance of the Fitness Department
By consistently following our systems and procedures and by coaching and supervising employees to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, Fitness Programming Managers will achieve success.
Work with corporate, area and club management to recruit, hire, train and develop staff.
Ensure the accurate reporting of all personal training income and department payroll expenses.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Service oriented attitude towards members
Positive managerial attitude and an ability to communicate effectively with all staff
Thorough knowledge and understanding of all exercise equipment. Ability to coordinate the repair, maintenance, and cleaning procedures for all equipment.
CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of twelve months prior management experience, preferably in a health related field
Previous experience as a fitness trainer and/or group fitness instructor
Certification in ACE, ACSM, AFFA, NSCA or
Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science, Physical Education or Exercise Physiology
Foundations Part I and II, Quick Fit, and NFSO through TSI’s in-house certification
