The Georgia State Games is looking for talented, aggressive, outgoing and innovative interns to assist in the preparation for this year's events. Internship opportunities are offered in both paid and unpaid positions depending on intern's experience & skills, time commitment, availability, academic credit and semester sought. Internships are first offered to students completing the internship for academic credit. Dates and times for internships are flexible. All applicants must have strong writing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Internship offers either housing and some meal reimbursement OR a few paid stipends of up to a $1,000 semester stipends. Full-time internships are preferred & recommended, but part-time unpaid internships are also available. Internships are first offered to students completing the internship for academic credit. -Interns have turned down the United State Olympic Committee, Professional and College programs to intern with the Georgia Games. The Website Coordinators are responsible for the developing, implementing and evaluating the Georgia Games and associated organizational affiliated websites, platforms, forms and others mediums. Activities/Tasks -Update Georgia Games website ensuring correctness; -Develop new on-line forms pages; -Develop and implement annual photographic albums; -Develop and maintaining results platforms; -Work with ALL 20+ event coordinators to ensure compliance with all needed activities. -Develop a volunteers page; -Work with evens coordinators and sports chairs to develop accurate results reporting and athlete biographies. -Oversee all outgoing publications and promotional materials via website associations, -Develop NEW Taekwondo website -Develop NEW Youth Rugby Website -Supervise and update the content, maintenance and development of the Georgia Games website. -Compile and document all event results and post to all media outlets including Internet and database. -Attend and work all on-site activities as determined by Executive Director. -Continue, maintain and update previous social media programs and activities. -Complete all other duties as assigned.
