LOCATION: Locations throughout Knox County HOURS: M-F, MWF, T/R 2:00-6:00 PM POSITION SUMMARY: The Sport Management focus area of the Youth Development Leadership Program provides college students with the opportunity to gain education and experience in coaching and leadership. Interns will work with elementary-aged students from one of our 17 after school sites to teach them fundamentals of sport, how to grow as part of a team, and the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle. As part of the Youth Development Leadership Program, interns will participate in multiple learning presentations throughout the semester taught by Heather Roberts, Health and Well-being Coordinator of the Cansler YMCA.
