Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can assist with the development, management, and execution of League events in high-energy, deadline and results-driven department. This person should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that rewards creative and solution minded approaches that keep partner objectives and NBA goals top of mind.

Major Responsibility:

  • Serve as a liaison with internal departments to provide guidance on planning, activation and execution of events and programs.
  • Provide general support to event management team, with special focus on internal communication.
  • Develop and manage planning and project management documents for current and future All-Stars including summary documents, timelines, status reports, and key schedules.
  • Oversee internal master All-Star schedule; manage all edits and distribution for key internal and external constituents; aggregate pertinent All-Star schedules.
  • Work across the organization to develop positive relationships and ensure input, feedback and approvals are obtained in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate closely with internal groups to plan and manage event details, including project workflows, timelines, and statuses.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations and recaps that can effectively tell a story and convey a point of view.
  • Communicate key issues internally via status reports and meeting updates.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • 2-3 years special event, brand/sports marketing, project management or live event experience needed.
  • Ability to travel and work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Detail oriented person who has the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Team player with strong cross-functional skills.
  • Creative and innovative thinker who can find solutions to problems in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal), adhere to deadlines, and to set expectations with all stakeholders.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.


  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
