This candidate should be someone who is only satisfied with continued improvement and shares the Philadelphia Union goal of bringing the soccer community together to create a home field advantage! WE’RE TALKING ABOUT SELLOUTS! The Philadelphia Union view their Group Sales team as an integral part of selling out games. Next season, the Union will be attacking from all angles, including off the field, in which we’ll be looking to do the same. In this position, you’ll be reaching out to the community, specifically to companies, schools, youth soccer, and many other organizations. THE X’S AND O’S We’ll expect you to have a basic understanding of ticketing coming in. We’ll also expect you to be able to further your ticket sales craft by being an avid learner. You'll be making phone calls, emailing, and meeting face to face with Union group prospects to organize their group outings. You’ll develop and manage relationships while providing exemplary customer service. The majority of your time will be spent in the office but you may work various community and in-stadium events along with all of our 18+ Union home games. MAIN DUTIES 1. Make 60+ outreaches per day to group prospects with a focus on generating group opportunities 2. Manage relationships of a small existing book of business while prospecting for new groups 3. Be available to work up 18+ home games 4. Other duties as assigned DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU? We are working to develop the best Ticketing group in all of sports. We’re looking for candidates who can contribute and grow soccer in Philadelphia, who are also determined, coachable, detail-oriented, and want to get better every day. Does this sound like you? Education and/or experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university and prior experience in ticket sales. Note: This is full-time position with compensation consisting of a salary plus commission. Hours may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
