OVERVIEW Are you a data ninja and a business results driven person? The Marketing Analyst will provide data driven strategic and tactical recommendations on business opportunities and optimal use of company resources. This is an opportunity to develop relationships with business stakeholders and be a resource and trusted advisor regarding business and analytical needs. RESPONSIBILITIES -Analyze business performance using quantitative, qualitative and testing data to identify positive financial outcomes and optimal tactical and strategic reasoning. -Establish and analyze marketing metrics to identify cause-effect relationships between marketing actions and financial outcomes to increase profitability. -Evaluate new business opportunities, promotional events and initiatives and make recommendations on impact to the business. Assist in the implementation of test and learn process to analyze of the results of these opportunities. -Perform ad hoc analysis with the objective of building business intuition over time. -Effectively utilize Adobe Analytics, SQL, Excel and other relevant analytics tools as needed. QUALIFICATIONS A Bachelor's degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline; or at least two to four years related experience. Preferred experience with working directly with leading web analytics tools. Proficient use of Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on advanced Excel skills. Some experience in statistics, including general testing methodology (a/b testing, test vs control, randomized controlled trials, pre/post retail analysis).
