About the Job

PURPOSE Support the Go-To-Market (GTM) systems and business processes for the adidas America organization, including but not limited to: system training and troubleshooting, analysis of forecasting data, process documentation, coordination of wholesale rep forecast process. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Support GTM systems that enable forecasting and data integrity: Act as administrator of forecasting systems First point of contact to troubleshoot systems and user errors Conduct testing of system enhancements and solutions Collect business needs, submit enhancements and set priorities with IT Lead user training sessions both in person and online. “Key user” spokesperson Create business process documentation for IT and end users Primary teams supported will be Sales Reps, Marketing BU/CTC, Demand Planning Critical thinking: view marketing operations issues from a business perspective and help develop/implement solutions with cross-functional partners. Functional expert of sales forecasting process Create reports to analyze and share data KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Strong technical mind/skillset with a desire to get closer to the Sporting Goods business. Excellent interpersonal skills: be able to work successfully both independently and cross-functionally, communicate with sales reps and translate their valid business needs to IT. Self-starter: learn new complex tools and processes both quickly and resourcefully. Problem solver: desire to define problems, establish facts, analyze root cause(s), draw valid conclusions and propose viable business solutions. Strong attention to detail: multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Team player. Excellent working knowledge of MS Access, Excel and strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint), and familiarity with data visualization and tools. SQL experience is a plus. Ability to communicate effectively in English, written and oral. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree, four year college or university degree preferred; or relevant work experience (equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree) Minimum of 2 years’ experience with merchandising or product management systems Previous experience working with an Apparel/Footwear company preferred.
