About the Job

The Coordinator, Content & Engagement will report directly to the Senior Manager, Digital Communications and will coordinate USA Volleyball social media efforts in addition to developing and producing content for the USA Volleyball digital and marketing campaigns. Additional hours may be required to include nights, weekend and holidays. This position will be located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Summary of Duties and Responsibilities included but are not necessarily limited to: Develop, create and publish strategic content to build engagement around USA Volleyball activities including Grassroots, Coaching Education, High Performance, Events, National Teams, etc. Lead and coordinate USA Volleyball’s social media efforts, including managing and publishing content on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest and Google +, etc. Track and analyze social media trends and statistics. Engage with members, fans, and sponsors in constant dialogue maintaining a professional and consistent voice in representation of the USA Volleyball brand. Facilitate timely and responsive action for USA Volleyball across social platforms based on trending content, live events and potential crises. Develop and execute content strategy in integrated digital media efforts including social media. Develop storylines and contribute content for USA Volleyball strategic marketing campaigns and digital media across programs and events. Assist in editing and compilation of content for quarterly USA Volleyball digital magazine. Organize and draft content for monthly newsletters. Assist in website production efforts on content management system. Coordinate content strategy across multiple platforms, media and concurrent projects across marketing plans, sponsor deliverables and creative services. Limited travel to capture live content onsite at major USA Volleyball events and Media Days. Edit and optimize graphic and video assets for content strategy. Other duties and projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Communications, Marketing, related field or equivalent work experience Three years of relevant work experience Experience with use of social media for organization/brand Excellent oral and written communication skills Must be able to successfully pass a USAV background screening Must successfully complete SafeSport certification within two-weeks of hire date Preferred Qualifications Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis on Illustrator, Photoshop and Premier Experience or skillset in graphic design for digital media Experience or skillset in video editing/production Experience in web publishing using a content management system. Background in volleyball or sports is a plus Minimum Starting Salary – $38,500 – Commensurate with experience. USAV also offers a comprehensive benefits package to all full-time employees.
