Job Description
Essential Functions:

  • Lead the Athletic Department's premium sales and stewardship management needs.

  • Serve as the primary contact for premium seat holders and prospective seat holders.

  • Identify new and cultivate/steward existing introductory-to- high level athletics donors.

  • Direct and coordinate game day operations for Ross-Ade and Mackey premium seat areas.

  • Advance the John Purdue Club membership, marketing, and communications efforts, while furthering the overarching Athletics Department goal of developing student-athletes into scholars, champions, and citizens. Additional Responsibilities:

    Premium Seating:

  • Lead and direct sales, stewardship, and marketing efforts for premium seating in Ross-Ade Stadium, Mackey Arena, Bittinger Field and Alexander Field.

  • Coordinate the premium seating renewal cycle for football, men's basketball, and women's basketball.

  • Direct and coordinate game day operations for Ross-Ade Pavilion and Mackey Arena premium seats, including coordination between areas such as facilities, ushering, staff, ticket office, concessions, with special emphasis on catering and alcohol services for all club spaces.

    John Purdue Club (JPC):

  • Assist in the personal recruitment, retention, and advancement of JPC members.

  • Assist in annual giving efforts of JPC, including the donor renewal process, donor recruitment, and donor advancement.

  • Manage portfolio of 750+ major gift and annual fund donors, initiating and nurturing relationships with donors through phone calls, face to-face visits, events, and personal stewardship/cultivation initiatives.

  • Assist with special JPC events, both on and off campus. Miscellaneous:

  • Other duties as assigned.

    • Excellent problem solving, analytical, quantitative, organizational and project management skills necessary.
    • Must be able to multi-task and meet established deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Personal computing and related software skills, such as word processing, spreadsheets, database management, data queries necessary.
    • Capable of adhering to and complying with Purdue University, Purdue Research Foundation, Big Ten Conference, and NCAA applicable rules, policies, procedures, and regulations.
    • Some travel and weekend work required.
    • Ability to build relationships with constituents.
    • Regular and reliable attendance are requirements of this position.


    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Education, Sports Administration, Communication, Hospitality and Tourism Management or related field required.
    • Minimum of two years of fundraising, sales, marketing, and customer service.
    • Customer service focus and background a high priority.
    • Athletic fundraising or sales experience preferred.
