JOB SUMMARY: Assists in the planning, development, implementation and monitoring of company wellness program. Develops initiatives that create awareness, motivation and provides tools to team members that help them adapt and maintain a well-rounded healthy lifestyle. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Identify opportunities to integrate wellness into organizational culture. · Develop, coordinate, manage, and maintain wellness program to reduce health risk, medical costs and encourage healthy lifestyles. · Keep abreast of current national wellness and well-being initiatives and activities, developing a network of resources and contacts to use as appropriate. · Explore ideas and opportunities to personalize the program to increase team member. participation. Motivate team member participation in wellness activities, challenges, and events. · Assist in drafting team member communications with respect to new wellness opportunities and answer team member questions regarding wellness program. · Lead and/or coordinate educational sessions or lunch and learns for large audiences on various wellness topics. · Use data analytics to ensure understanding of impact and outcomes against program objectives. · Utilization of operational metrics to define, track and report on program activities, participation and results. · Connect with existing local and national health vendors and establishes new partnerships to further develop the team member wellness program. · Make budget recommendations to Sr Benefits & Wellness Manager regarding wellness initiatives/programs. · Perform research on relevant topics for wellness communications, health promotion, and disease prevention. · Perform other related duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: · Two or more years’ experience in the delivery and coordination of corporate based health promotion programs required. · Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, health education, public health or another health-related field required. Nutrition/dietetics experience preferred. · Knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations surrounding bona-fide wellness programs. · Previous experience as wellness account management and/or wellness coordinator is highly desired. SKILLS: · Demonstrated skill in program development, implementation, marketing, and promotion. · Strong interpersonal communication, leadership, customer service, and motivational skills. · Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint at a minimum. · Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands. · Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. · Works with high levels of positivity, enthusiasm, initiative and creativity. · Driven towards high quality results; pays attention to details.
