About the Job
As a member of Ravens Media, the Business Analyst will work collaboratively with corporate sales, marketing, ticketing and stadium operations. The coordinator will directly support the Manager of Business Intelligence and Digital Sponsorship. Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to, generating weekly, monthly and custom reports to support sales and sponsorships, fan demographic research/analysis, market research, database marketing & segmentation, analyzing and reporting on data pertaining to digital, broadcast, marketing, ticketing and corporate sales.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze, manipulate & compare data sets to find actionable insights and recommendations for strategic business decisions.
Develop & apply statistical predictive models for season ticket holder renewals, fan attrition risk, future season ticket purchaser propensity, game attendance.
Table and query data in Ravens data warehouse.
Use Tableau to create compelling data visualizations including dashboards and recurring reports.
Assist in fan demographic analysis. Using proprietary fan data and third-party market data, analyst will research, analyze and report trends, statistics and profiles of different fan audiences.
Responsible for generating a variety of reports and providing analysis and conclusions to supervisor and digital media team.
o Weekly/Monthly sponsor advertising reports
o Weekly/Monthly digital media performance reports
o Specialized reports pertaining to digital KPI's, web traffic, digital trends, etc.
o Market research/reports for sales pitches.
Assist with market research related to sponsorship sales, ticket sales, digital media and marketing.
Gather and present data for sponsor recaps and performance; measure ROI.
Identify industry and organizational trends. Present and explain trends to supervisor and digital media team.
Attend weekly Ravens Media staff meeting; attend Ravens Ticketing meetings as necessary.
Support Business Intelligence gameday efforts as needed.
Required Education and/or experience
3-5 years’ experience working in an analyst or business intelligence role for a professional sports team. Bachelor's degree in business analytics, statistics or related and appropriate field. Applicant must have solid understanding of analyzing data, drawing conclusions and generating reports. Position is full-time. Applicant must be available to work weekends.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency in R or similar statistical programming language
Data visualization; Tableau
Experience with SQL.
Experience using SSB and KORE software a plus.
Working knowledge of analytic & demographic software including Adobe Omniture, Facebook Insights, Nielson/Scarborough, BlinkFire Analytics, DoubleClick, etc. a plus.
