Marketing Manager, Core Golf Perry Ellis International Perry Ellis International is looking for a committed marketing manager to work in the Corporate Headquarter office located in Miami, Fl. This person, in conjunction with the VP of Marketing, leads the planning, developing and implementing of marketing strategies for assigned brands including public relations activities both external and internal. He/She will be a steward of assigned brands to ensure all forms of communications, products and public relations fall in line with the brand direction. Brands involved include: PGA TOUR, Grand Slam, Jack Nicklaus and Ben Hogan. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overseas development and implementation of marketing communication efforts and materials
  • Coordinates at a strategic and tactical level with the other departments in the organization: creative, sales, design, merchandising, planning and legal
  • Manage relationships with licensed partners to guide the business
  • Assist in the development of short- and long-term plans and budgets for the assigned brands
  • Responsible for monitoring marketing projects, assure adherence to requirements (legal, licensor, etc.) and evaluate performance of all internal and external efforts
  • Communicate to internal stakeholders through clear briefings regarding marketing projects and be able to provide updates on relevant business results
  • Provide guidance for the direction and messaging on all brand social media channels
  • Build relationships with key media and social influencers REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising
  • Demonstrated experience in golf, golf equipment and professional tours a plus
  • 5 years of experience in related role
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities
  • Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills
  • Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time; highly organized with keen attention to detail
  • Be a sports enthusiast with an understanding of the sports industry
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
