Position Description Context of the Club Development Coordinator:

  • Supports the daily operations and the initiatives of Club Development department
  • Commits to the mission, objectives, and policies of U.S. Soccer Purpose of the Club Development Coordinator:
  • Provides administrative and technological support to the Club Development department leads
  • Collaborates with partners and members to expand the influence of Club Development
  • Aligns Club Development with other departments within Sport Development Primary Responsibilities
  • The Club Development Coordinator:
  • Executes daily decisions in accordance to department standards
  • Supports Club Development operations
  • Customer service to members, clubs and affiliated stakeholders
  • Fosters a culture of open communication, collaboration and sense of belonging (internally and externally)
  • Supports Club Development leadership in tasks related to Club Support, Club Networks, Education, and Assessment and Certification Tasks and Duties of the Club Development Coordinator Supporting Club Development
  • Supports Club Development in key areas: Club Support, Club / Member Networks, Education, Standards and Certification
  • Provides direction to administrative and technical staff
  • Tracks data
  • Supports ongoing platform development
  • Assists in organization of ADC and DOC course in collaboration with Coaching Education
  • Organizes communication, hotel, and meeting space for training, workshops and double pass initiative
  • Attends U.S. Soccer and member events to facilitate educational workshops and meetings Supporting a long-term plan aligned to Sport Development
  • Aware of ongoing operations and current projects for other departments
  • Support ongoing operations and projects for other departments Communication and organization of Club Development Manager staff
  • Clear lines of communication and understanding with the remote Club Development Managers Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required Desired Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge of the sport and the overall soccer landscape in the U.S.
  • Able and willing to travel up to 25% of the year
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer service focus to solve complex and urgent situations
  • Proficient with technology programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Keynote, etc.)
  • Experience in developing/supporting technology platforms or database management is a plus
