Responsibilities

We serve athletes* inspirational storytelling and incredible products in ways that are relevant and valuable to a lifestyle of sport. Our athletes* span the globe, and they have unique interests as they engage with NIKE to accomplish their goals. Possessing a capability and platform to drive this content to our digital experiences is critical to the success of this mission. Nike Content Ecosystem is a set off tools for facilitating the creation, management, discovery and distribution of assets and content to power NIKE's global, personalized, consumer-anywhere experiences across apps, web, retail and partner experiences.

As a Product Manager, your role on the team will include working closely with the product team, business partners and development teams to bring new and innovative solutions to life. You will play a key role in the product strategy and roadmap creation, prioritization, requirements definition, functional design, and development of the NIKE Digital Content Ecosystem.

Your role will include:

  • Being the subject matter expert on the Asset Domain process, tools, people and the flow of assets to all Consumer touchpoints as well as the functionality and user journeys for the specific tools with which you work
  • Understanding and advocating for market, consumer, and stakeholder needs to ensure we are building the right product functionality at the right time to deliver maximum value to our consumers and business
  • Working with the Product team to build a vision, strategy and roadmap for your area of ownership including developing Consumer impact based KPIs and delivering against them
  • Conducting regular stakeholder opportunity assessments, roadmap reviews and prioritization sessions with business and engineering
  • Playing the role of product owner on an agile development team, developing a clear, well groomed, prioritized backlog that aligns with the strategic priorities; activities include requirements definition, story writing, and feature roadmap creation
  • Collaborating with architects and other technology and product leaders on building scalable cloud-based platforms powering the digital experience ecosystem at NIKE
  • Maintaining a product metric scorecard to measure and report on the success of launch functionality and platform health
  • Partnering with business and development teams to identify objectives, determine initiative scope, and document requirements

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other relevant areas
  • 3+ years product management experience in a technology-centric business. Strong B2B or B2C digital product management experience is required
  • Proven track record creating innovative product ideas and concepts that meet business and product strategies based on rigorous analysis of customer needs, the current technology landscape and the competitive environment
  • Strong understanding of enterprise-level platforms and technologies including user profile management, ecommerce systems, content management platforms, messaging platforms, and social platforms
  • Proven experience guiding the process change needed while introducing new tools to the environment
  • Experience with an Asset Delivery stack is greatly valued
  • Success in designing and facilitating requirements elicitation sessions including use of interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, business process outcome modeling, personas, user centric design, task and workflow analysis
  • Experience with working in an Agile delivery
  • Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • A consultancy approach to your work and the ability to work independently and multi-task
