The Global Brand Innovation Team at Nike exists to create the future of sport, serving athletes* through distinctive consumer experiences by concepting, visualizing and piloting new marketing initiatives across product and brand campaigns and through physical and digital experiences. The team actively collaborates with key partners in the Nike marketing organization in order to amplify, extend brand priorities and disrupt consumer expectations.
The Creative Team within Global Brand Innovation thinks progressively and strategically and executes world class creative solutions and storytelling. The team obsesses both creative culture and tech culture and looks for opportunities to apply both to influence the team's ideas and output. We leverage our brand design and storytelling expertise but think digital first and constantly look to integrate emerging capabilities into our prototypes and consumer facing experiences. We build partnerships and work in a highly collaborative manner.
Your role is Senior Designer, reporting to Sr. Creative Director Brand Innovation. Your responsibilities are focused on exploring, developing and executing world class creative on behalf of the team and brand, with an emphasis on creative quality and speed. You are well versed in contemporary digital channels and are excited about bringing an innovative approach to design and storytelling. You are comfortable leading both the creation of prototypes as well as finished consumer facing creative. This position requires expert knowledge of creative culture and design with an enthusiastic curiosity towards emerging digital and technology culture. A focus of the job is finding the overlap between the two and applying that to innovative marketing concepts. You will own multiple projects at a time, leveraging your own strategic design skills as well as managing other creators, both internal and externally. You are comfortable working in digital and physical spaces and work with a collaborative attitude towards both creative and non-creative partners. You are enthusiastic about the process of presenting and converting supporters of our creative concepts and are willing to absorb team best practices.
Based on your experience, you can produce work yourself but also have a network of designers, writers, creative technologists and developers to compliment your skills. In addition to your outside network, you will be required to build and develop relationships with individuals and teams within Nike.
