About the Job
The SSC HR Representative plays a key role in providing comprehensive HR support for designated business units. Provides coaching and guidance to Director and Manager level associates to recommend solutions to business issues. Supervises the employee relations function and works closely with mid-level management and non-management associates to resolve problems/complaints. Works in conjunctions with SSC HR Managers to drive talent management, performance management and associate engagement. Ensures compliance with all corporate human resources policies and procedures.
Serves as a business partner to the functional units. Builds relationships with mid-level management (Directors and below) to ensure the alignment and support of business needs, objectives, goals, and operating priorities with Human Resource policies, procedures, and initiatives.
Conducts and supervises investigations and makes resolution recommendations to include ethics complaints, unemployment compensation claims, disciplinary issues, performance management issues, EEOC complaints, and other compliance related issues at Director level and below.
Administers ongoing salary actions including promotions, transfers, hires, and terminations to ensure compliance and equity within the organization for associates at mid-level management and below.
Provides assistance to SSC Human Resources Managers in other functional units as needed. This may include administrative support, data collection and analysis, and special projects, etc.
Facilitate and/or Co-Facilitate training sessions for associates at the SSC on HR topics as needed.
