Purpose: The Director of Product Marketing Classics Apparel sets the global product vision for the Classic apparel range in line with the Classics BU strategic direction. He/She manages the product marketing team to execute the BU vision and plans to drive the business growth. Key Accountabilities: Product Strategy Create global 2-4 year product strategy, seasonal execution and briefs that support overall brand and financial objectives Develop and implement product strategies that incorporate market trends via industry intel, market data, consumer insights in seasonal process Ensure key market insights are obtained and incorporated in global category briefing process. Lead and manage cross-functional product creation process Develop compelling, marketable category concepts, stories, and global vision Lead and manage CTM projects that deliver against key market opportunities Lead and manage apparel product marketing for high profile fashion collaborations such as Pyer Moss Manage Business and Financial Targets: Ensure that range P&L targets are achieved (GIM%, model &article allocation, efficiencies, sales) Ensure overall adherence to product creation calendar and achievement of key milestones through critical decision-making and leadership Industry, Market, and Consumer Acumen: Provide and utilize insight and analysis of consumer and marketing trends, competition, retail landscape, and cultural drivers affecting business dynamics. Provide a Framework for Performance: Be an advocate for the category both internally and externally to ensure that proper resources are garnered Build a high-performing team through selection, development, and day-to-day coaching of staff Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Strong influencing skills Strong collaboration skills Communicate with Others Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills required Excellent verbal and written language skills in English Excellent interpersonal skills Technical Communication Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products Analysis and Problem Solving Excellent analytical skills Qualifications: 10 plus years’ of experience in apparel product management, at least 5 of which were in a management or leadership role Knowledge of product development process and textiles is essential Bachelor degree in related field Ability to travel internationally Strong presentation skills (presenting to large groups expected) Ability to partner with, collaborate with, and influence internal and external business partners The Reebok brand has moved their HQ to a 220,000 square-foot section of the Innovation and Design Building in Boston’s Seaport District.
