About the Job
We are the brand leaders in the design and manufacture of lacrosse equipment, creating products that elevate our athletes’ performance and setting industry performance and reliability benchmarks with our top selling helmets, headgear and equipment. The Product Manager is responsible for the execution, commercialization and ongoing support of the entire Maverik and Cascade product lines. You will assist the Senior Brand Manager in creating a 3-year category strategy, innovation road map and marketing objectives. The Product Manager will conduct market and consumer research to drive the direction of future product lines and continuously evaluate competitors’ businesses and the marketplace to capitalize on market opportunities. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve product line objectives and execute the seasonal product launch plans, including the product development, sales, logistics, supply and demand teams. The successful candidate will generate product briefs outlining product performance and aesthetic requirements, target costs, wholesale and retail pricing, projected forecasts and marketing deliverables. You will also validate selling stories, features and benefits and final product direction through consumer insight collection. The Product Manager will support sales through key account presentations, trade shows and retailer specific demand creation initiatives. Requirements: -Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years’ experience in a business setting or the equivalent combination of education and experience. -Product management experience strongly preferred. -Background in sporting goods and lacrosse experience preferred, with a playing background at some level. -Strong communication skills (written/verbal/presentation). -Aptitude for critical thinking and problem solving. -Ability to clearly articulate and monitor goals and objectives for cross-functional team. -Detail oriented, with ability to seek creative viable solutions to any given situation.
